Virgin Media
In order to promote the launch of Superfast Broadband, Virgin Media put on an incredible light show called the “Bolton Switch On”.
An historic building was floodlit in Virgin red and we used the latest video mapping techniques to create optical illusions on it. Giant bouncing balls inscribed with the Virgin logo appeared to bounce around and off the pillars; a Virgin fish “swam” in between the pillars as though in a giant fish tank; bolts of superfast beams of light traced the outline of the building in a flash; along with a whole host of visual illusions set to a fantastic orchestral performance.
