Custom Truss
SXS can provide truss and rigging structures that can be accurate to the nearest 10mm
Many of our clients have some very precise truss-size requirements. This is often the case when trying to build large or complex structures in tight spaces such as venues and in marquees.
Custom truss lengths are also very useful to achieve special compatibility between different structures, or to
install spreader trusses in gaps that are not flexible in size.
SXS can
provide highly customised structures and truss lengths. All our custom and
adjustable structural members are provided with custom-produced structural
calculations to ensure rigging is always done within safe limits.
We have
designed our own proprietary systems that allow for unheard-of flexibility with
structure design. Using these element we have:
- built large ground
supports to a height accuracy of 10mm to fit in low-ceiling venues
- spanned
truss between point in curved structures where the spacing cannot be relied
upon
- built circus trapeze rigs where roof-hanging or conventional ground
supports were not feasible
