accessibilty statement
In conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, the web content has been created to meet their standard and include all of the Web Accessibility Initiative Priority One checkpoints plus a selection of the WAI Priority Two and Three checkpoints.
The webpages have been independently validated by the W3C, the World Wide Web Consortium. The W3C have checked and found valid HTML 4.01 Transitional.
They quote: "This means that the resource in question identified itself as "HTML 4.01 Transitional" and that we successfully performed a formal validation using an SGML or XML Parser (depending on the markup language used) to show your readers that you have taken the care to create an interoperable Web page.
You may display this icon for valid HTML 4.01 and valid CSS."
